Knuckles
Privacy policy
This policy describes the Knuckles dice game on the App Store, Google Play, and the web. Knuckles does not ask you to make an account, and it does not ask for your name, email, or age.
Information kept on your device
Progress stays on the device you are playing on. That includes your Knuckles balance, dice and board cosmetics, whether Knuckles Pro is active, settings, tutorial progress, achievement progress, and how many optional ad rewards you have claimed today. Uninstalling the app deletes this copy. There is no Knuckles server that stores a player profile.
Purchases
Knuckles Pro and coin packs are sold by Apple or Google, not by us. We never see your card number. To restore a purchase on a new device, the app asks RevenueCat to check the receipt from the store. RevenueCat receives that receipt and the store’s identifier for the purchase. You can restore from the Shop or from Settings.
Advertising
Rewarded ads are provided by Google AdMob. An ad plays only after you tap a button such as Double it, Boost, Free Knuckles, or a power-up claim. Closing an ad early gives no reward. There are no ads on launch, no banners, and no ads between turns.
AdMob may receive an advertising identifier and related device information to deliver and measure the ad. On iPhone, the app asks for permission to track the first time you choose to watch an ad. Allowing it can make the ad more relevant. Saying no does not limit the game, and the ad is then non-personalized. In regions that require it, Google’s consent form is shown before the first ad. You can open it again from Settings under “Privacy options (ads).”
Game Center and Play Games
Leaderboards and platform achievements use Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, and only if you sign in. Those companies hold that profile under their own policies. Knuckles does not receive your Game Center or Play Games password.
Limited-time items and Game Center
When you buy a limited-time cosmetic, the app saves a small number to a Game Center leaderboard (Google Play Games on Android) that records which limited items you own. It is tied to your Game Center or Play Games profile, so it can be read back after a reinstall or on a new phone. It holds no name or contact detail, and the leaderboard is not meant to be viewed. If you are not signed in, nothing is saved and nothing is restored.
Playing with someone nearby
Paired mode can use Bluetooth, the local Wi‑Fi network, or a message link to find another device in the same match. That traffic stays between the two devices. It is not uploaded as a player profile.
What we do with this
Device data is used to run the game: save progress, deliver a purchase you made, and show an ad you asked for. We do not sell personal information. We do not use it to build a marketing profile of our own.
Your choices
- Skip every ad. Rewards that an ad can give can also be earned in play or bought in the Shop.
- Decline tracking on iPhone. The game stays the same.
- Change ad consent from Settings, “Privacy options (ads),” where Google requires that form.
- Turn off purchases with Apple’s Ask to Buy or Google Play parental controls.
- Sign out of Game Center or Play Games in Settings.
- Uninstall the app to delete the progress stored on the device.
To ask for deletion of purchase records held by RevenueCat, or ad data held by Google, email [email protected]. Store receipts themselves are held by Apple or Google.
Children
Knuckles is meant for people 13 and older. It does not collect a child’s name, email, or age, because it does not collect those from anyone. Ads are off unless someone taps a reward button, and purchases go through the store’s parental controls. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the contact address above, email that address and we will delete it.
